WHO CAN JOIN?

The Columbus Dojo accepts students of all experience levels.  Whether you are just beginning your journey, or have already trained for years- The experienced Instructors of the Columbus Dojo are able to guide you on your martial path.
We offer instruction for children and adults, for those with no prior experience, and to transitioning black belts.

BEFORE ENROLLMENT:

Good Character is necessary to be granted membership in the Columbus Dojo; a pre-enrollment interview is required before membership enrollment.

As a traditional Dojo, we offer each student the opportunity to progressively improve through consistent guidance and training.  The development of each student is our top priority.

TRANSPARENT PRICING:

We have a set monthly membership price for training, and  we don’t sell ‘upgrade’ (more money) programs such as ‘blackbelt club, masters club’ etc. that are designed as an income generator for commercial martial arts schools.

Transparency in membership costs.  The Columbus Dojo is a registered non-profit organization focused on Asian cultural arts preservation. All Instructors are un-paid volunteers. Membership dues, together with fundraising income, are used to pay operational costs and insurance to maintain a well appointed dojo that remains open to all members.
