Ryukyu Kobudo/Kobujutsu is offered to select students from the green belt level in Goshukan-Ryu. Kobudo is a supplementary art and is not required for promotion in Goshukan-Ryu Karate primary syllabus. Although we have a standardized syllabus, each individual branch chief may opt to teach kobudo kata to individual students at their discretion, as long as the order of kata is followed.

Our lineage of Kobudo is Taira Shinken’s Ryukyu Kobudo.
