The Zen Okinawa Goshukan-Ryu Karate Renmei, (IOGKA) is the sole governing body for Okinawa Goshukan-Ryu Karate worldwide. All Goshukan-Ryu appointed representatives will be active supporting members of the IOGKA, and will have a direct and current lineage traced back to the founder in Okinawa.

All ranks promotion authority and Instructor certifications are administered by the IOGKA Director and/or Executive Board according Goshukan-Ryu Karate Standards set by Goshukan-Ryu founder, Takamiyagi Hiroshi, Hanshi 10-Dan.

The Columbus Dojo is the USA Honbu (HQ) and the designated site for all Black Belt training for IOGKA State Directors, Branch Dojos, and Black Belt Members.

Garry Parker is the IOGKA 会長 Chairman, and the Chief Administrator for the IOGKA’s Yudansha Transition Program.
